Need For Speed (NFS) Unbound

Criterion Games, the grandmasters of arcade racing, are back at the helm of Need For Speed with Unbound, an adrenaline-fuelled outing that clamps down on some of the excesses of recent NFS outings in favour of a tighter racing experience.

The game boasts a new visual style, that takes the realism fans expect and adds in a layer of street art graphics. Players can customise their rides with tags that will, in turn, present as living graphics as you’re careening around the city with cops on your tail.

The more you race, the more heat you’ll attract, and as the police pile on the pressure you’ll need to make tactical decisions using new escape mechanics to hang onto your freedom. Can you outrun them? Should you try to tackle them head on? Will you hide out in the city’s underground?

Unbound’s aesthetic customisations run deep. There are hundreds of cosmetic items to pimp your character with, including gear from some of the world’s hottest fashion innovators. Similarly, there are loads of cutaways and wraps to make your ride stand out from the pack.

Handling has been sharpened up this time out, with real weight and meat to the cars on offer, but the driving is still pretty wild. This is, after all, Need for Speed.

Grading Info

Here's a little information on our grading practises for used devices.

  • New

Anything we have listed as new is just as it says, new! Including original packaging and at most the device has been powered on to confirm it's working correctly.

  • A

Products labelled as grade A would show minimal signs of use, with no excessive wear and tear. These devices still contain signs of use, but at a lower level.

  • B

These are the typical devices you see on the used market, showing more signs of use and often some sign of wear on the display. No cracks or faults are on these devices, but a regular amount of wear and tear is expected.

  • C

When the device has had an excessive amount of wear and tear, or shows heavy use to some parts of the device, they'll often find themselves graded as poor. These devices will not have any faults but could feature a small crack that wouldn't affect usability. Cracks to the device would be made clear on the product listing.

  • F

Sometimes we come across devices that are perfectly functional for most tasks but fail in certain areas that cannot be repaired. This might include a faulty Face ID or Touch ID sensor. Devices listed as faulty will have their faults listed so you're aware of what you're buying. These devices don't always have excess signs of wear and tear, and might be in great condition with just the fault causing this grade.
